Samir the barman is a really interesting guy. His service and knowledge of rums n cocktails are commendable. His recommendation is well.

5. Sushi Hibiki

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in KL, and easily one of the best places I have ever eaten at! Whenever I go it is always amazing food and fun experience. Chef Saito and his staff are extremely friendly and friendly, they don’t treat you as just another customer they have to serve. I really appreciate the time they take to talk to thee and their passion for what they serve! The food is heaven in your mouth and the simple decoration of the restaurant is like a museum showcasing its fine works of art. The amount may seem steep at first, but it is worth every penny. I cannot recommend this place enough!

6. Iketeru Restaurant

Iketeru is among my favorite restaurants in KL. The food is delicious and high quality; the venue is classy; and the staff is attentive, always making an effort to make you feel at home. I was served by Saiful, Ben, Amy, and Irene on my recent visits. Saiful will always ensure he will be my main server. On my last visit, he offered us complimentary salad to make up for our late orders on a busy night. It was also my brother’s birthday, so we were given a free slice of chocolate cake with a magic relight candle! My go-to dishes almost every time are the uni sushi, saba (grilled mackerel) in teriyaki sauce, and yuzu sorbet. I also enjoy the weekday set lunches, truly a treat before continuing another half day of work!

7. Khan’s Indian Cuisine

It had been opened for about a month when I ate there. The service was excellent, food was very well done, and very tasty. I plan to go back and work my way through the list. I am sure that this will become a community place, and that people will come from around town to eat there.

We went for a wedding anniversary and in our 15th year, we wanted to try something different and this ended as a great choice for our special occasion. The interesting and unique experience is as mentioned in the other reviews. But what I could say is, the restaurant cannot just be unique – it must have good service and dishes – and this place did not disappoint us. Actually, by Malaysian standards, it was quite good. The dishes had a little up and down, some of them were kind of dull, but it would pick up on the next dish and kept us satisfied. So yes, even if this area wasn’t dining in the dark, it would be worth to come back to enjoy the dishes. We got a small present at the end of our anniversary which was nice.
